As a city with one of the highest populations of commuters by bike, the Seattle Department of Transportation saw the merit in building a protected bike lane along one of Seattle's busy arterials. We designed this take on Pin-the-Tail-on the Donkey to keep kids entertained at outreach events, to remind them about safety, and to give their parents the chance to meet with project staff.
