Restaurant workers in Washington had never been surveyed about their needs at work, their perception of the workplace or their policy priorities. With the Seattle City Council preparing to vote on new mandates for restaurants, the Washington Restaurant & Hospitality Association (WRA) wanted to ensure their members were heard before the vote.
We developed the survey, designed the questions and crafted a promotional strategy to reach as many employees as possible. With a focus on WRA member employers with at least 250 employees, we maximized social media and internal communication channels to receive more than 400 completed surveys. At the conclusion of the study, we compiled data into videos, infographics and a presentation to the WRA Board. The cherry on top of all this valuable insight was a MarCom gold award for the employer packet of materials!
