Uroosa Fatima

Uroosa’s happy place is an isolated, sandy beach under a full moon, but she sleeps best to obnoxious road noise.

Uroosa moved to the United States from Pakistan in 2015, settling in Seattle a year later. While she first lived in New York while completing her master’s degree in environmental policy, she moved to the Pacific Northwest after falling in love with the soul-piercing green forests and cold, dewy mornings. Uroosa has research and professional experience in stakeholder engagement, and has always been interested in questions of power, race and access. She enjoys robust discussions on the experience of being human, and continues to grow as an analyst as she takes on difficult questions with an open heart and dozens of her own. During her down time, she loves to escape into nature loaded with sci-fi novels, a bag of oranges and a hammock.
