Sean Long

Sean has lived in four different cities on two different continents. He considers Seattle his favorite because it is the first American city he’s lived in where the trees actually change color in the fall.

Sean is a University of Washington graduate who double majored in Political Science and Community, Environment, and Planning with a strong interest in sustainable transportation. His experiences have given him a strong sense of equity and community building, from organizing events with the UW Chinese Student Association to fostering civic engagement among students through voter registration drives. Having spent his life traversing between East and West, Sean is experienced in navigating multicultural settings and working to understand and incorporate diverse perspectives into decision-making processes. In his free time, Sean enjoys exploring Seattle by public transit or on his trusty green electric bike.
