Sarah Omlor

Sarah’s dream job (other than EnviroIssues) is to be a NASA botanist, growing plants in space in order to produce oxygen.

Sarah discovered public involvement through her degree in urban planning and a lifelong love of working with people. With years of experience working with local government offices in her home state of Pennsylvania, she comes to EnviroIssues with strong customer service and public engagement skills – especially when it comes to public sector projects. Sarah has a passion for all things sustainability and is a graduate of Portland’s Master Recycling Program. In fact, when she isn’t organizing community events, you can often find her informing the public (and her coworkers) on proper recycling practices. Sarah also enjoys gardening and travel, but perhaps her coolest hobby is long exposure star photography.
