Nyles Green

Even though Nyles has spent his whole life in the Pacific Northwest, he still finds it necessary to use an umbrella.

For Nyles, the key to effective communication lies in breaking down complex subjects into smaller, more digestible pieces of a puzzle. A graduate of the University of Washington’s Community, Environment and Planning program, he thrives in unpacking the intersections of built and natural environments. Prior to joining EnviroIssues, Nyles interned with the Seattle Department of Transportation, where he built a foundation of community outreach skills and techniques in communities around the city. He uses this local knowledge of transportation modes, key stakeholders and community assets to support a variety of public projects. In his downtime, Nyles unwinds by learning to draw, playing the trombone and listening to podcasts.
