With a background in journalism and natural resource management, Iris has a broad range of experience in both personal and non-personal communications. Prior to joining EnviroIssues, Iris briefly wrote for a science magazine in Sydney, Australia, and for American Archaeology magazine in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She then spent four years with the Bureau of Land Management in southwest Utah expanding their community outreach and education program through environmental education field trips, social media forums, and wayside exhibits. She is especially apt at generating information and ideas that connect with the target audience, bridging gaps between sectors and developing and fostering community partnerships. Growing up as a dual citizen in Paris, France, Iris has an innate appreciation for cultural diversity. Iris also has experience in graphic design, video editing and photography.
