David came to EnviroIssues in 2018 with a background that includes a Spanish degree from Whitman College, culinary school, farming, cooking, professional tree-climbing, four years of teaching in Spain and a little bus driving. He’s thrilled to be a member of the business development and marketing team, helping to share EI’s story with the world and find opportunities for our staff to effect change through mindful community engagement. He is passionate about housing and the intersection of land use and transportation policy and works to build connections with local community-based organizations. On the weekend you can find David woodworking, riding his bike or gardening.
