Tara has her pilot’s license, which is how she discovered her poor depth perception.

Tara has over ten years of experience providing community engagement and digital media support in the public sector. Tara believes in balancing the reach of digital media with the power of personal connections to engage communities and is particularly interested in how online persona can shape public sentiment. She continued her education in her late-30’s, and now holds a M.A. in Strategic Communication from WSU and a Digital Marketing Certificate. Tara’s favorite thing to do is take long hikes that end in a summit with her two border collies. She wishes someone would finally invent the teleporter to transport them back down.
