Sidney Orr
Sidney spent her 21st birthday trekking through the Khumbu region of Nepal on her way to Mount Everest Base Camp.
Sidney is happiest when working at the crossroads of environmental, social, economic and cultural sustainability. She graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in environmental science and terrestrial resource management, and brings her love of people, process and the environment to her projects at EnviroIssues. Sidney has spent her career working in public affairs and communications at Seattle Public Utilities, the University of Washington and in outreach consulting roles. She enjoys working on projects that make people’s lives better and strives to facilitate top-notch communications pathways that improve decision-making and policy outcomes. When she’s off the clock, you can find her cycling, eating food from her favorite restaurants in Wallingford and going on adventures with her partner, Mik, and her dog, Korra (the Avatar).
