Sarah is a firm believer that you drink pop and bake with soda.
After graduating from the University of Michigan with her degrees in Environmental Studies and American Culture, Sarah joined EnviroIssues bringing experience that ranges from assisting with policy work as an intern on DC’s Capitol Hill to conducting ecological field research, data coding and database entry. She also brings her rich experiences with community outreach and advocacy and event planning from being highly involved in her Native American community throughout her life. She values a public involvement process that includes all stakeholders and that results in sustainable, equitable and socially-aware solutions. In her free time, Sarah enjoys hiking and running, staying up to date with political news, participating in all forms of dance, and perusing used and rare book stores. As she is new to Seattle, she is continuously searching for the city’s great seafood restaurants.
