KaDeena Yerkan

KaDeena dreams of the day when she can practice yoga on the beaches of Maui full-time.

A Washington native, KaDeena has been managing communications and outreach programs in the Seattle area for more than 13 years. She leads the communications team for the Washington State Department of Transportation’s $3.1 billion Alaskan Way Viaduct Replacement Program, one of the largest transportation efforts in state history. Through strategic planning, knowledge of the local community and enough patience to outlast any controversy, KaDeena helps her clients -- including Bertha, the world's largest tunneling machine -- sustain public and political support during long and complex infrastructure projects. When she’s not at work, KaDeena serves on the board of ECOSS and enjoys listening to late night live music, as long as it’s not a work night.
