Cindy has solo traveled to over 18 countries. Some of her favorite memories are freezing in a tent under the New Zealand stars, almost losing a shoe in an abandoned Czech quarry, and spending summer evenings along Singapore’s waterfront.
Cindy is an experienced engagement practitioner with a focus on equitable development for underserved communities. She brings experience in event planning, GIS analysis and stakeholder outreach on topics related to urban policy and transportation planning. Having ridden mass rapid transit systems while living in Asia and Europe, Cindy brings a special interest in our region’s expanding light rail and bus systems. Prior to joining EnviroIssues, she studied at universities and worked at think tanks, consultancies and government agencies in Washington D.C., Taipei, Shanghai, Singapore, Amsterdam and Portland, Oregon. Outside of the office, Cindy can be found hiking up a mountain, playing pickup frisbee or baking a cake.
