Chad's only slightly ashamed to admit he wears a Seahawks jersey on game days, even though he's a grown man with family responsibilities.
Chad always has at least one eye on the news. Before joining EnviroIssues, he wrote for more than a dozen Seattle-area newspapers and was twice honored as "News Writer of the Year" by the Washington Newspaper Publishers Association. His knowledge of local media and government has only deepened during the five years he's spent supporting the Alaskan Way Viaduct Replacement Program, one of the region's most high-profile transportation efforts. When he isn't working with the reporters and developing public-friendly informational materials, Chad likes to read, play/watch sports and spend time with his wife and two young children.
