Brittany has walked the entire length of Manhattan from top to bottom – twice!
Brittany brings a background in community organizing, design and urban planning to EnviroIssues. She understands the importance of public involvement and uses her listening and creative problem-solving skills to connect community values and ideas to decision-makers. She spent her formative professional years in New York City supporting public sector planning and design for open spaces, all the way from small scale community gardens to large scale landfill-to-park conversion projects. Before joining EnviroIssues, Brittany aided university campus planning efforts and led community outreach and education around stormwater management topics in Portland. When not in the office, Brittany enjoys spending time in boats (of all kinds), building up her documentary and video projection skills, and taking walks around the neighborhood.
