Amy’s favorite pastimes are interacting with virtual animals in video games, struggling with crafts, and hanging out at her local library.
Amy has lived her entire life along Oregon’s I-5 corridor: she grew up in Salem, is a graduate of the University of Oregon in Eugene and moved to Portland to pursue public involvement and outreach with EnviroIssues. She holds a degree in journalism and has experience with communications, outreach and community engagement, including various roles with college organizations and an internship at the Library of Congress. She has produced a number of zines that showcase art and words from people in her communities, and plans to create more in the future. Amy is especially passionate about supporting social justice initiatives that serve and give voice to underserved communities. Her next goal in life is to learn to do tricks on her roller skates.
