Allan Vann

Allan once made a seven-hour detour on a road trip to visit a famous bakery. It was worth it.

Allan is a graduate of the community, environment and planning program at the University of Washington. During his time at UW, he discovered a passion for community outreach and engagement in regards to large urban projects. He fell in love with the Pacific Northwest after exploring the various contrasting natural (and built) environments the region has to offer, especially after spending the majority of his life in a small rural farming town. He hopes that his work in outreach and engagement at EnviroIssues will help inspire the same passion for projects in others, so they can become civically engaged with the changes surrounding them. Outside of work, you can find him planning his future meals and daydreaming about making a good sourdough starter.
