SR 520 Communications Associate

EnviroIssues’ is looking for an experienced associate to join our SR 520 Bridge Replacement team, co-located in the Wells Fargo building. This position will support the communications team, performing tasks focused on public correspondence and social media.

Qualified applicants will have:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a communications role
  • Experience with social media including creating and guiding social media communications plans
  • Superior writing skills, ideally with some news writing experience and familiarity with AP style
  • Strong website skills (e.g., drafting and posting content, editing webpages)
  • The ability to analyze and digest complex, technical issues and produce clear, understandable messages for public audiences in a variety of formats (e.g., fact sheets, folios, e-newsletters, talking points)
  • Experience with video planning, production, and editing
  • Strong organizational skills, with ability to work simultaneously on multiple assignments
  • The ability to strategically guide, manage and triage public correspondence with an understanding of a No Surprises and transparency philosophy and importance of follow up and consistent messaging
  • An interest in large, complex public works projects
  • A valid driver's license is required
