Roger Thompson

Roger is no athlete, but he did haul in a pass some years ago from NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Fran Tarkenton.

With three decades of experience in journalism, public relations and public affairs, Roger brings solid communications savvy and writing skill to bear for EnviroIssues clients. Above all, he helps advance their goals through smart, strategically honed messaging. Roger started his career as a newspaper scribe before changing horses to pitch news for state lawmakers. From the statehouse he moved into the consulting world, managing the development and execution of strategic communication programs for a wide range of public- and private-sector organizations here in the Pacific Northwest. These days, Roger spends most of his time thinking, talking and writing about the reconstruction of the world’s longest floating bridge.
