Nicole Phaysith

Nicole believes hugs are good for our health. That’s why she has two fur babies, Ozzy and Zeb: she’s guaranteed free hugs daily. Though Zeb is a chihuahua to his core, and regularly rejects her advances.

With roots in the Pacific Northwest, Nicole (she/her) has a homegrown sense of stewardship and a deep respect for her community. She graduated from Washington State University with a degree in communications and comes to Enviroissues with years of experience supporting nonprofit communications and equitable engagement on public infrastructure projects. A futuristic thinker, Nicole loves to ask questions and imagine possibilities when solving problems. She is at her best when she’s collaborating with diverse voices on meaningful projects that center inclusion, equity, and accessibility. When not working, you’ll find Nicole hanging out with her four siblings, binge-watching a T.V. show, or snuggling with her dogs.
