Nephtalie Gonzales
Nephtalie used to be severely allergic to shellfish, then overcame the allergy by eating more shellfish.
Nephtalie immigrated to the United States when she was eight years old and has grown to love the Pacific Northwest. She got involved in environmental and social justice organizations during high school and has continued to hone her passion by working extensively on community development and public engagement efforts in BIPOC-focused areas. In 2023, she graduated with a Bachelor's in Political Science, becoming the first in her family to do so. Outside of work, you can find Nephtalie learning to grow an edible plant garden at home, taking thousands of pictures of her cats, or attempting to finish one of her crochet projects.
