Laura Treadway

Laura has lived and studied abroad in Japan, Kenya, and Nicaragua, but is happiest calling the fjords and forests of Puget Sound home.

Laura brings extensive nonprofit management, public policy, and program management experience to her work at EnviroIssues. A master’s degree in environment and community from Antioch University, Seattle prepared her well to explore the intersections between people and natural systems, as well as how we build and develop our cities. Laura is skilled at developing in-depth knowledge about complex issues and explaining these issues to diverse audiences. She enjoys coalition-building and knows that bringing as many perspectives as possible to the table results in better decisions. In her spare time, Laura enjoys nature photography, spins wool into yarn, and knits somewhat obsessively.
