Katie has grapheme-color synesthesia which means she can tell you what color your birthday is!
At work and in life, Katie is motivated to make positive contributions to the way individuals, cultures, and environments continuously shape each other. Before joining EnviroIssues, Katie helped film and edit a documentary, exercising her passion for using media to express ideas and empower people. With degrees in Business Administration, Marketing, and Photographic Media Art from the University of Washington, Katie has experience developing content and marketing strategies for companies and local businesses. She joined EI to work with and learn about the local community and is excited to work directly with individuals to discover and meet their needs. Outside of work, Katie can usually be found collaging, walking around the city with her camera, or watching a documentary.
