Cory Rodriguez

Cory watches over 100 films each year to curate an inclusively spirited LGBTQ+ focused shorts program, fresh from the lens of filmmakers all around the globe.

There are two things Cory is very enthusiastic about: engaging with diverse peoples and championing stories. Both led him to pursuing a degree in Film Studies at Seattle U, experiences with arts organizations such as the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF), and his blossoming career in HR. Cory strives to build meaningful relationships with each and every person he supports while sharing laughs and movie recommendations. Originally from Eastern Washington, he appreciates the value of hops and is always looking for the next craft brewery to try out (he’s already been to over 150). Outside of the office, Cory can be found watching a horror flick at one of Seattle’s many independent theaters, having a ball with his corgi Kino at Dog Yard Bar in Ballard, or supporting local queens at a nearby drag show.
