Chris Johnstone
Chris has an extensive knowledge of all the secret public stairways in West Seattle.
Chris first joined EnviroIssues as an intern shortly after graduating from Seattle University with a degree in environmental studies: urban sustainability. In addition to his early work supporting transportation projects, Chris has since gained experience developing strategic plans with nonprofits, their stakeholders and the general public. Originally from California, he has also spent time in Michigan, working with Challenge Detroit and PM Environmental to consult on small business marketing plans, parent engagement in Detroit Public Schools and green space implementation on formerly blighted properties. Chris approaches his work at EnviroIssues with passions for equitable and sustainable development in urban areas as well as for engaging diverse populations on projects that affect their communities.
