Caitlin Johnson

Despite never having driven a trailer before, Caitlin packed her belongings in the smallest trailer she could find and trusted her 2002 Subaru to move her halfway across the country.

Originally from the Midwest, Caitlin (she/her) has spent her whole life living near large bodies of water. Whether the Mississippi River, Lake Superior, or Puget Sound, these major landmarks made her curious about the relationship between our natural landscapes and urban environments. Caitlin graduated in 2021 from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, where she studied Public Relations and Urban Studies. During her undergrad, she worked at the university's Office of Off-Campus Living to develop relationships with students, neighborhood organizations, and university departments on projects related to sustainability and creating community. Caitlin is passionate about public engagement that centers equity and empowers communities. Outside of work, you'll find Caitlin at a concert or tripping on a hike around the PNW.
