The Regional Coalition for Clean Rivers and Streams has a big job – educating 1.5 million people in the Portland-Vancouver area about how things many of us do on a regular basis can contribute to pollution in the region’s waterways through stormwater runoff. It takes a village to get that kind of work done – in this case, a village made up of multiple cities, various county agencies, and regulatory agencies in Oregon and Washington.
EnviroIssues rolled up our sleeves and joined the effort. We provide organizational and administrative support for the Coalition, but we also support all aspects of their communications and outreach efforts. From coordinating media buys in broadcast, print, and web-based outlets, to updating their website, to developing advertising graphics, to staffing social media tools…EnviroIssues has become their source for communications strategy development and implementation, and for engaging and educating citizens about how each of us plays a role in clean, healthy waterways.
